Unhealthy amounts of Big League Chew

Sorry I didn't include any pictures last week. I forgor. Anyways this week has been really good. We've been having a lot of fun and learning a ton of Chinese. It's been going really well. I've gotten to the point where I can pick up on the new Taiwanese Sister calling me elder Kiwi because she thinks my new haircut makes me look like a Kiwi. So you could say it's coming along pretty well. This week we got to celebrate America by watching the fireworks set off by the stadium of fire. It was so fun to watch with everyone. Everyone was having such a good time it was awesome. Elder Blyth thought it was so funny that everyone was so into it. He thinks we just like it cause we've been indoctrinated since kids. Such a funny guy. Love him. Also Elder Chang kept going around writing 美国第一 on peoples arms, which means america number one in English. That was great until someone told him he needed to stop, but it was fun while it lasted. This week we had the Chinese district ahead of us leave which was super sad, I love those dudes. They're killing it though. Before Elder Ng, Wu, and Hill left, Elder Ng gave us a bunch of ties, and me and Blyth got the fattest ties he had. So the day after we rocked our ridiculously fat ties around. We looked actually so dumb, but it was so fun. Oh ya we got new Sisters and one Elder who are all fluent at Chinese, so it's great to talk and practice with them. There are so many Elders and Sisters here though. It is fr so packed. Getting lunch is such an ordeal, but it's no problem. It's fun to meet and be around so many people. It's so fun to meet everyone from different countries too. Anyways I feel like there isn't much to say because most of the days are pretty similar here, but I only got 17 more days before I get shipped out to Canada. So I'm not too worried about it. Also shout out to Max Russel for the solid Baptism this week. Anyways for my spiritual thought this week. In Mosiah 25, the records of Alma (the older one) were read to all the people of Zarahemla about his story about how he escaped from King Noah, went to Helem, escaped the Lamanites there, and then eventually made his way back to Zarahemla. Alma then preaches to everyone about repentance and faith in the lord. After this, King Limhi and all his people were desirous to be baptized. I loved this because it taught the importance of powerful stories in teaching. People learn better through stories as seen in this example, and in the example of how Jesus Christ taught. I love this, and it made me want to try and become a better teacher by using stories of Christ's hand in my life, or powerful stories of Christ's hand in other people's lives (especially the Book of Mormon). Anyways thanks for reading my emails everyone! Even if you just skip to the pictures, that's honestly what I would do lol. Love you all and love hearing from you! Pictures: 1. America Package from my Grandma and Grandpa Calder. Those guys are awesome. 2. Me and Blyth (from Australia) in tears from America Fireworks. 3. Saw my Aunt and uncle last week. Love those guys. 4. Shlumped 5. Fat tie day with Elder Blyth 6. Temple with the district. 7. The amount of Big League Chew we consume is ridiculous.
