(Catherine) I got a message from McKay last night that he had tried to send a full email with a lot of detail and everything and it got deleted. It was one of those p-days where he spent most of the day looking for a lost church key fob and never caught a break...and then he lost the email he worked hard on. He gave me the details below and I told him I was so glad to get a glimpse into his week. He said I could forward it to you and that he was sorry it was so lame. (I should've sent this out earlier, but we just didn't have it today) First of all shout out to Parker Simmons for the greatest emails of all time. They inspire me to stop writing 2/10 emails, but alas that is not in the cards today. Anyways the last two weeks have been baller. There have defiently been some tough days, but when I look back at it, I'm only remembering the awesome stuff so thats cool. For example, shelled up crawfish and snake head. Two solid delicacys I have been priviliged to consume recently. Everybody thinks the gross food on the mission is a bad part of it, but it's honestly so fun to try these things. Anyways crawfish with the shells still on is a solid 8/10 just like crunchy lobster, and snake head was also a solid 7/10. Nothing too bad yet.
