Hello everyone, another splendid week out here in Canada so I’ll just jump right into it. Road Rage. I feel like I’m turning into my older brother before he went on his mission. As you might have guessed he took the classic missionary route where you get better on being patient and charitable to others during his mission. This naturally would translate to driving. I for one have gone completely backwards. I rarely got mad at a car back at home but I am now single handedly insulting every old lady, single mother, and 16 year old kid in the entire city. I have such a way with words that really helps me insult not only their driving, but also them on a personal level. For real though this week was pretty solid. We got Oscar who doesn’t know a lick of Chinese and is from Mexico to join in on our lesson completely in Chinese. Hello everyone! We had a lesson last night with our recent convert named Samantha. She told us about dating life in the single adult ward, and sadly apparently you go back to about the same maturity of dating in your 40's as you are when you are in middle school. It hurt me to hear about it, and I was just trying not to laugh the whole time. It was a solid lesson though. Also this week I went on exchanges and was actually able to go to a gym! It was so awesome. Elder Liu's a champ for that one. We also found 2 new people this week! Now I know that this doesn't sound awesome, but that is wonderful for this mandarin branch. Hey everyone! Sorry my emails have either been non-existent or just the lamest the past couple weeks. I have had a string of crazy P-days that have been really busy, so I should probably just start writing these in the morning. Anyways, here are some fun things that have happened the past couple weeks. I got transferred to the south of Calgary! This is super cool because now we have Chinatown where we can street contact, so that has been awesome. My new companions are named Elder Spencer and Elder Labrum. I have learned recently that by far the scariest demographic to talk to is middle-aged white women, but because I am assigned to serve the Mandarin people here in Calgary, I don’t have to talk to them too often. I honestly feel blessed. The Mandarin speaking people here really are so amazing though.
