我不知道

I think it's been over a month since I wrote an email. As usual it has been pretty amazing. I feel like my love for missionary work, the savior, and the Edworthy YSA has grown so much in my past little bit, but even more than that my love for and conversion to the savior has grown so much this year. I hit my year mark this past week, and I am doing a read through of the Book of Mormon to point out all I can learn about Jesus Christ. Since I have come to know Christ deeper in the past year, I'm thinking I can share the list I have so far: - Christ can soften hearts to want to change. Big difference from helping, once WE want to change. - The Lord won't always reveal his whole plan to you all at once, or even ever (In this life). - Christ cares about records. - Christ fulfills his promises, always. He cannot and will not forsake a promise - Christ has always, and will always speak through prophets until he comes again. - The Savior has prepared THE way. - The Holy One of Israel became subject to man in the flesh, dying for everyone, so that men might be subject to him. - The Deliverer delivered us from physical death as a gift to all, he delivered us from spiritual death under the condition that we choose to accept deliverance. - He is perfectly great, merciful, good, and just. His Justice does not take away from his Mercy. - The Isaiah chapters testify strongly of Christ and his Mercy / Justice. - God knows all. - Christ's atonement extends to all. It is Infinite and Eternal. - The keeper of the gate is Christ, and he employeth no servant. - The Lord will not open up to those who are puffed up in their wisdom, knowledge, and learning - Christ is King and a light to all those who hearken unto him - Those that fight against Christ will not win. - The Americas are consecrated by the Holy One for religious freedom. - Christ remembers all and it is by his grace we are saved. - Christ uses multiple witnesses to establish his words. - Jesus Christ is God. Heavenly Father is God. They are distinct and separate beings with the Holy Spirit being a personage of spirit as well. (2 Nephi 10:7, See "The Only True God and Jesus Christ Whom He Hath Sent" by Jeffery R. Holland) This is not all I have learned, but just from this Book of Mormon read so far. Other fun things: - Our friend Nati got baptized and it was awesome. Bro always pulls up to church with my tie tied with the short end much longer. Gosh I love that man, and he's from Kenya so he can help teach tons of our friends who speak Swahili, Tigrinya, and Kinyarwanda. - Also Calgary is wild cause its a big melting pot so even though we have 7 different languages spoken here by missionaries we need members to teach with us half the time to teach in their native tongue. We still need literally every language in Africa, Punjab, Portuguese, Cantonese, Arabic, and a couple others are killing us. - My new comp is elder McClean. He knows elder Simmons. - The savior is blessing us in this area right now. We probably only have time to find 1 or 2 times a week. - I've been reading a lot recently and I'm a big book guy now. Send book suggestions about church stuff. - I got to teach one last time with Elder Niutupuivaha. Gosh I love sefanaia. - I met a lady who had gotten her eye scooped out and just stuffed paper towels in. She needed to pull a Lance and just wear an eye patch. - Half of our members want to date our friends and half of our friends want to date our members but none of it is mutual and now we get to deal with it cause we're the only platonic ones. Actually so dumb. - Ujwal told me I can stay at his house when I come up again and bring anyone I want. I love Uj. - im still horrid at golf - im a big vest guy now Love you all
